Inspiration
The green cement table top from the Lura collection is the perfect fusion of contemporary style and versatile functionality. Designed to transform any space, this table top suits both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal choice for restaurants and function spaces requiring customised furniture with character and style. Each cement top is unique, with subtle variations in tone, texture and porosity, giving them an exclusive touch. This makes each table a one-of-a-kind piece, capable of adding authenticity and distinction to the setting. Noble and resistant, cement creates a sense of solidity and durability. Due to the nature of the material, micro-cracks or small irregularities may appear due to temperature changes but this is an intrinsic characteristic that does not compromise the structural integrity of the product, rather it adds a touch of authenticity. To preserve its beauty and functionality over time, we recommend protecting it from direct exposure to the elements in autumn and winter, using a waterproof cover. Plus, to maintain its flawless appearance, we recommend applying the Sterina stone protector twice a year, thus ensuring its resistance and durability. This simple act of care ensures that the cement top remains in perfect condition, always looking its best. This table top is compatible with the bases from the Esilda, Dina and Saura collections, allowing you to customise your table with total freedom. Its versatility is its biggest strength: it allows you to create unique combinations, adapting to the aesthetic and functional needs of each space. With the green cement top, you have the possibility of transforming any area into a place with its own style, visual strength and a presence that does not go unnoticed.
When you purchase a piece of furniture, a lamp, a mattress, a kitchen, home textiles or a rug, you pay an eco-contribution that helps fund the recycling of your old items.
What is eco-participation?
The eco-contribution is a fee added to the price of new furniture, bedding, textiles and electrical and electronic equipment such as lamps and light bulbs. It is paid by the consumer and passed on to the relevant eco-organization: Ecomaison for furniture, Refashion for textiles and Ecologic for electrical and electronic equipment.
Why?
It is used to finance the sorting, recycling, and recovery of mattresses, used furniture, lamps, and soft furnishings.
How does it work?
Ecomaison implements collection and recycling solutions in partnership with local authorities, social economy organizations (such as the Network of Recycling Centers and Emmaus), and furniture professionals.
Since 2013, through this initiative, Ecomaison has already handled over 10 million tons of used furniture and bedding, preventing the landfill of waste equivalent to 1,000 Eiffel Towers. Previously, 55% of discarded furniture ended up in landfills. Ten years later, it's less than 3%. With 800,000 tons per year, Ecomaison is now the leading supplier of recycled wood in France.
Who is Ecomaison?
Ecomaison is a state-approved eco-organization that manages the sorting, collection, reuse, and recycling of household items and materials, from the foundations to the finishing touches. Its mission is to collect and repurpose household items and materials, giving them a second life by donating, repairing, recycling, or using them as an energy source.
